At Exact we are looking for a reporting specialist with a focus on sustainability to strengthen the Reporting and CSRD team! In this role you will be reporting to the Manager External Reporting and CSRD.

As Reporting specialist, you will proactively contribute to the realization of strategic objectives through high quality external and management reporting & analysis. You will have an opportunity to further develop reporting and take it to the next level by using state of the art technology and value adding analytics. 

As our reporting specialist, you will be able to play a key role with respect to the implementation, measurement, and realization of sustainability reporting in accordance with the applicable standards. Your contribution will be essential in shaping Exacts sustainability reporting.

The role has exposure to the business, in a growing, private equity owned Multinational. We are convinced that only together we can make a distinctive difference, so working closely together with our different stakeholders and management teams is key. Furthermore, you are responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Designing, Collecting, validating and consolidating of required CSRD/ sustainability data for internal and external reporting and support the creation of the non-financial section of the Annual Report;
  • Design and report on CSRD/ sustainability KPI’s; Setting up a reporting Framework - overseeing and ensuring data quality and integrity of specific non-financial reports;
  • Ensuring that Exact is compliant with the applicable CSRD standards and regulations;
  • Providing technical support and guidance with respect to sustainability developments and reporting requirements;
  • In addition to the sustainability component, there will be an element of contribution to financial tasks, which typically include complex financial areas, which may include leases, revenue recognition, debt valuation and consolidation. Proactively analyzing and reviewing results of specific processes and balances of the company and being able to explain these to a wider audience; and
  • Participate in presentations with management teams as required.

For this role we are looking for candidates with passionate for sustainability and changing the way businesses operate. Next to this:

  • You have experience with financial reporting and a keen interest in sustainability reporting. Experience with sustainability reporting is an advantage;
  • certified in accounting principles;
  • Your analytical skills are strong with an eye for detail, yet you have the ability to not lose track of the bigger picture;
  • You are flexible and embracing change, always looking for improvements. You take a positive approach to everything you do and meet challenges as they arise you are quality minded and have no problems with hands on work;
  • You can analyze complex problems and participate in delivering solutions focused on technological improvements and increasing process efficiency;
  • You are a self-starter and can work with a degree of autonomy, as market practice and additional guidance are still being developed it is key that you can form your own view on these changes;
  • You have good communications skills and you are fluent in the English language, both written and verbally as you have to work with stakeholders in different teams; 
  • Microsoft Office suite hold no secrets for you! You have advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint combined good presentation skills and with an interest in Business Intelligence;
  • IFRS experience.
