As a senior procurement specialist, you will be acting as the procurement business partner to the CTO team. You will take ownership of negotiating with our (potential) suppliers, the contract renewals within your scope, have recurring meetings with your stakeholders to discuss the current and future procurement activities, and you act on ad-hoc requests, you also need to be able to inform your internal customers on the policies and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Technology domain (Cloud and SaaS) and understanding of the Microsoft and AWS stack.
Our HQ is in Delft, and we have a hybrid way of working. The procurement team, consisting of 8 colleagues, manages the P2P process for Exact entities worldwide and has 4 nationalities. In your role you have a direct report to the manager procurement.
In your role as senior procurement specialist, your responsibilities within your procurement domain are:
- Coordinate procurement activities, focusing on creating added value through cost avoidance and P&L savings, as well as managing contract approvals.
- Lead the procurement process to identify and select the most suitable suppliers and achieve cost savings.
- Make sure contract renewals are negotiated in time and fact based.
- Manage and optimize the tech supplier database.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Support and engage in supplier relationship management and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with the team for continuous Improvement of our global processes and policies.
- Contribute to sustainability and vendor diversity initiatives.
- Use and develop further our business intelligence applications in Microsoft Power BI.

- A Bachelor or University degree and at least 5 years of relevant Tech experience.

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
We also would be open to candidates with a Development background (SaaS/Cloud) and some experience with Microsoft / AWS account management; or someone with a Sales background in the SaaS/Cloud domain (with strong Microsoft / AWS knowledge).
