As Business Control team we provide strategic financial advice on current and future performance and support senior management in steering the business to achieve our long-term strategy. In this role you will be working closely with the business and be a sparring partner with focus on the companies we acquire (portfolio companies). You will report to the Director Business Control and be part of a team of 10 controllers.
Your focus in the job will be on:
- Full ownership of strategic and financial planning, analyzing/reporting and (KPI) steering with regard to the portfolio companies
- Sparring partner at MT level at the portfolio companies, balancing your challenger role with strategic and financial business support
- Participate in execution of M&A projects and review business cases, valuation, due diligence
This = what you bring
- A smart and eager professional with an academic background, preferably MSc in Business Administration or Finance related
- 7-10 years relevant working experience in a Business Control role in a fast paced organization or within transaction services/advisory of a Big 4 (TMT) in a managerial role
- Used to a data driven environment with professional Excel skills and comfortable with using PowerBI tools
- Experienced in development of presentations for senior management on strategic and financial topics and with presenting and leading discussions
- Analytical, result driven, well-organized and being able to switch between details and the bigger picture at the same time
- A strong personality and communication skills combining social skills with persuasiveness and a truly team player and ready to have lots of fun
- Experience in a Telecom or Technology (software) organization and M&A is an advantage
- English and Dutch at professional working level is required

If we have enough in common, there will first be a meeting via Teams to get acquainted with our Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner. The second step is an interview with the Director of Control and other senior representative and another interview with senior management for which you will be working. A test will be part of the selection process. The selection procedure will take up around 2 weeks since we would be delighted to welcome you in the team in February 2025
