Max Verstappen, currently the Netherlands' greatest sports hero, just seems like an ordinary guy. Practically a 'boy next door'. But don't be fooled. The youngest Formula One racer ever to win a Grand Prix is phenomenal, exceptionally talented and has boundless ambition. That's why we're #ForeverFans of Max Verstappen.
Do you want to discover what our innovation and ambition can do for your organisation?
After sponsoring his father Jos in the late 1990s, Exact was proud to become a partner of Max Verstappen in August 2015. He was a rising talent at Scuderia Toro Rosso back then, and is now an established star at Red Bull Racing. What made Max and Exact such a perfect match? We're both Dutch, of course. And naturally, we both want to be the best. But there was more.
Our attitudes aligned. We like to expand boundaries, always pushing a little harder. And we love using innovative technology to achieve our goals and ambitions.
That's classic Max. It's also classic Exact.
Max isn't just handy behind the wheel of his F1 car, he's also perfectly at home acting in commercials or giving interviews.
Despite his busy schedule, he was happy to make time to work on some special productions with us. These always related to one of three themes: attitude, innovation or fun.
From commercials about Exact's innovative technology, to interviews at events, to test-driving Exact's own Grand Prix circuit, Max did it all, with focus and ambition. As you can see. Just watch the videos.
New developments occur in rapid succession in Formula One, and that's also the case in Exact's software development, too. Artificial intelligence, machine learning… Max Verstappen and Exact are always eager for innovations that can help them to achieve their goals. We worked with Kingsday and The Ambassadors to create a series of funny commercials that put Max to the test.
At Exact Live, the Benelux's largest technology and software business event, we introduce thousands of attendees to the latest technologies. Max is always eager for innovation, but we decided to put him to the test with yesterday's tech. A cassette player, a Walkman… It's clear that Max belongs to a younger generation.
You have some nice images of Max Verstappen. You have exciting backgrounds. What you don't have is a way to film the actual Formula One car. You then ask yourself how you can create the innovative video you wanted.
The answer is CGI (computer-generated imagery), the perfect solution for combining film and computer-generated images. We used this technique in a special production with Max to promote New Accountancy, our flexible, reliable accountancy software. After all, when you stand for innovative products, you'd best present them innovatively as well!
He drove his first laps on the Netherlands' first-ever street circuit, designed by Exact. He gave extensive interviews to F1 journalists Jack Plooij and Wilfred Genee. And there was a live link to Christian Horner, the Red Bull Racing team principal.
Max Verstappen was a popular guest as Exact's ambassador at Exact Live. Our customers and partners peppered him with questions during our Q&A sessions.
As Max's partner, we wanted something fun to post on social media each week. We therefore worked with Funk-e to produce a comic for every race, with a storyline relating to that Grand Prix and to Max as a superhero. When it became apparent that Max himself was their greatest fan, we decided to publish the collection. And that's how our hero got his comic book.
