Exact for Manufacturing Ease of Use: Material cost per batch in the bill of materials
The bill of materials (BOM) is often designed by the engineering discipline, but it is used by planners, calculators and cost accountants. The BOM provides insight in quantities of materials required and in the material unit cost, but insight in the material cost per batch quantity was not available. We have now added a column with the material cost per batch.
Cost per batch The total routing cost for a batch has been available for a long time. It is provided in Maintenance | Routing in the column Total cost, with an amount per line (operation) and a total for all the lines: (Click to enlarge) We have added a column Cost (Batch) in the Maintenance | Materials, with an amount per line (item) and a total for all the lines: (Click to enlarge) These improvements are available for all versions of Exact for Manufacturing.
