Exact for Manufacturing Ease of Use: Showing floor stock materials in Smart Shop Floor
The whole point of tracking actual consumption of materials on the shop floor is inventory accuracy and better product costing. There is a category of materials that do not require inventory tracking, and that category includes floor stock (those materials that are stocked on the floor), and components manufactured by suborders reside on the floor too. For that reason, Smart Shop Floor logistics excluded floor stock on the issue screen. We have now added an option to show those items too.
Settings to show backflush materials and suborder materials In [Settings] Manufacturing we have added Show backflush materials and Show suborder materials. The Show suborder materials is only available in Advanced and Premium subscriptions: (Click to enlarge) When the Show settings are off, the number of lines counted on the Issue button exclude the backflush materials and/or the suborder materials. When the Show settings are on, the number includes the backflush and/or suborder materials, and on the issue details screen we see them marked with respectively Backflushed or Suborder: (Click to enlarge) This improvement is available for all versions of Exact for Manufacturing. The Ease of Use project aims to make Exact for Manufacturing easier and more efficient using the feedback of customers. Do you think we can make Exact for Manufacturing better?
