Support Portal: Improved e-learning courses, quicker searches and a new look & feel
On the Support Portal, you can find the answers to all your questions about Exact Online quickly and easily. Like the software itself, this online database is never 'complete': we're continuously working to improve it, and have one goal in mind – to make your work easier. The Support Portal's look & feel has been updated, the online training courses have been improved, and it is easier for you to find all the answers to your questions.
Introduction of Training Tracks
We have improved our training courses based on user feedback. As a result, you'll now receive a personalised training offer via Training Tracks, where the courses are divided into smaller components and arranged in a logical order. You'll see how much time you've spent on each part, which should spur you on to broaden your knowledge of Exact. We've also updated the content of our training courses due to new features in the software and requests from the Support Portal. The subjects are divided in a logical and concise manner, making them easier and quicker to read. This will allow you to be more productive in Exact Online and accomplish more in less time.
Training progress
What do you want to do first? There's a strong chance the focus of your activities will involve preparing a sales invoice. Before you can do this, though, you'll need to take a few preliminary steps – they, along with the duration of the training courses, are now available on the Support Portal. To make this easier, you'll also see your progress for each step required to prepare a sales invoice. Depending on the subscription you choose, you'll see at least three activities (and the steps to take in preparation) that you'll probably want to take care of quickly.
It's now easier to find what you're looking for
The search bar has been updated and is now clearly visible. When entering your search term, all relevant results will be displayed directly. You'll see all community questions, knowledge documents, training courses and ideas at a glance. You can then filter the results based on the type of information.
Other changes to the Support Portal
- We've added a new start screen and improved the way in which information is displayed.
- The chat feature is now much easier to find on all Support Portal pages. As well as removing the footer, we've placed links below the chat feature that you can use to get in touch with us. You'll also be able to contact other departments at Exact if you wish.
- A new status has been added for Ideas: Rejected. It is now possible for an idea to be rejected. All clients who voted on the idea will automatically receive an email about the status change, including a link to more information on the Support Portal. A document containing more details is also attached to the email.
- 'Help' has now been changed to 'Support' in the Exact Online menu.
- It is now easy to get in touch with Consultancy via the main menu and the contact page on the portal.

Discover the Support Portal
You can access the portal after logging in to Exact Online. In the menu, go to 'Support' and then 'Exact Support'. It's as simple as that.
