Exact Online - Premium editions
-
- The upgrade to a Premium edition of Exact Online is scheduled and executed by Exact.
- The moment of upgrade can be chosen.
- The upgrade will take up to multiple hours, depending on the size of the related companies that need to be upgraded.
- During the time of the upgrade Exact Online companies are not available for users.
- A downgrade from a Premium edition to another edition of Exact Online, such as the Plus or Professional edition, is not currently possible. This downgrade is expected to become available later in 2024.
- It is not possible to automatically convert data to Exact Online Premium from other solutions, such as Exact Compact. An alternative is to start in the Professional edition, convert the data and migrate to the Premium edition after verification. Or you can import the data manually using the Import/Export functions in the Premium edition.

- Using Flex, additional fields can be added to master data and key transaction lines. Please note that not all Exact Online applications support Flex. The applications that are extensible are listed in Master Data | Developer | Extensions | Developer | Resources.

- Exact certified Implementation Partners can implement and support Flex scenarios.
-

- Exact offers a connector to MS Power BI.
- Exact offers a set of templated dashboards to quickly get started using MS Power BI in combination with Exact Online Premium.
- MS Power BI users are not included in your Exact license.
- Exact Support provides assistance with questions about connecting Exact Online via the Power BI Connector. It does not provide support on how MS Power BI itself works or how to create Power BI reports.
- Exact refers to MS Power BI experts and our certified Exact Online partners for Power BI report creation and related capabilities.
-
- Exact creates backups of customer data for data recovery. Exact cannot provide or restore this backup at the customer's request.
- Within the Premium editions of Exact Online, it is not possible for the customer to create backups for restore purposes. Working in an environment with interconnected solutions and applications makes it virtually impossible to go back in time.
- For testing purposes, in addition to using a separate company, a Sandbox environment will become available in the Premium edition of Exact Online in the future. This add-on gives you a copy administration to test in isolation.
-
- The accountant can log into a client's linked Premium subscription via One Exact Identity. Also, the client's administrations are visible when selecting an administration.
- It is not yet possible to access the data of clients, via the API with the login of the accountant. As an alternative, an extra user can be temporally added to access the client’s data.
- The client's administrations are not yet visible in the various status overviews. This will gradually become available in the coming period.
- Some functions, such as working with template administrations and in-context communication, are not yet available when the client works with the Premium edition of Exact Online. This is planned to become available.
-
- The Netherlands: The Premium editions of Exact Online only support PSD2 and Rabobank 2.0 bank links. ING G accounts are not supported. We are currently working to make the 1.0 link for ING and ABN AMRO available in the Premium edition. All other 1.0 bank links are not supported in the Premium editions. Whether you are using a 1.0 link or PSD2 can be seen via administration name > Settings > Bank links.
- Belgium: At this moment, the Premium editions of Exact Online only support the manual import of CODA files. Automated delivery of CODA files via a connection, such as that of CodaBox or other suppliers, is unfortunately not possible at this moment.
-
- If you use payment links in your invoices (Mollie), the advice is to get them paid before you upgrade to the Premium edition or temporarily not send new invoices with a payment link until you have migrated. The payment link from before upgrade will no longer be valid after the upgrade.
- For Exact Online Projects customers: If you use digital timesheet signing by your customers, it is best to have these timesheets signed before the upgrade and not send any new timesheets until you have upgraded. The link for signing existing timesheets will no longer be valid after the upgrade.
