As the world of cyber security becomes more complex, specific knowledge and responsibility on this topic are required. In addition, our software products become more advanced over the years, demanding the most efficient and secure Cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you are responsible for the design of our cloud security architecture. Together with the operational and development teams, you will implement this architecture. Next to that you will monitor and optimize our cloud security architecture. You will work as part of our Cloud Operations team with our Cloud Engineers and Global Risk & Compliance team on improvements to our cloud environment. Roles & Responsibilities:
Cloud Security:
- Actively collaborate with our Cloud Enigneers, Platform Engineers, and Developers to integrate cloud security measures into existing systems and processes.
- Design and implement security architectures for cloud environments, ensuring robust protection against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement network security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a secure cloud infrastructure.
- Protect sensitive data by implementing encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
- Reporting possible gaps and misconfiguration to relevant stakeholders
- Utilize cloud-native security tools and solutions to enhance security and threat detection capabilities.
- Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and other testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest cloud security technologies, trends, and best practices.
Incident Management:
- Maintain an incident response plan, including monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents in the cloud environment.
- Primary advisor for security-related cases.
Compliance:
- Counterpart of Global Risk & Compliance team.
- Responsible for the review of the supplier SLAs and Supplier Security Controls together with the Cloud Cost Management Specialist
- Executing the security controls defined in the Exact Integrated Control Framework
This = what you offer
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of cloud security experience, focusing on designing and implementing secure cloud computing solutions.
- A strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
- A strong understanding of or experience in software development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and tactically about complex cloud security issues.
- Excellent communication skills, including communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- The ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other IT professionals.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good understanding of or experience in Software Development is a major plus.
- AWS and/or Microsoft certifications in the security area are a major plus.
